Meredith R. Dearborn⏐Partner

Meredith Dearborn is an experienced, dynamic trial lawyer based in California who has handled high-profile matters for some of the world’s largest tech clients, including nearly a dozen major federal and state trials. Called “extremely talented” and “practical” by Chambers and Partners, she marshals evidence and tackles thorny legal issues with dogged energy and focus. 

Among other recognitions, The Recorder named Meredith a Woman Leader in Tech Law in its 2025 California Legal Awards. She was recognized by the Daily Journal as one of its “Top Women Lawyers” for two consecutive years, has contributed to matters deemed Litigator of the Week by The American Lawyer twice, and has been recognized as an MVP in technology litigation by Law360. She is ranked by Chambers and Partners in antitrust in California.

Meredith is a leader in the Bay Area legal community. She sits on the Board of the Northern California chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. She has served as a Lawyer Representative to the Ninth Circuit Judicial Conference for the Northern District of California, on the board of the Justice & Diversity Center of the Bar Association of San Francisco, and the Advisory Board of the East Bay Community Law Center, one of the largest non-profit organizations offering free legal services in the San Francisco Bay Area. Meredith taught at Stanford Law School for three years. She regularly authors articles and presents on intellectual property and trial practice issues for the legal industry, educational, and trade groups.

While at the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, Meredith externed for the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division in San Francisco. She was the Senior Supervising Editor of the California Law Review and received the Thelen Marrin Award for Law Journal Writing in 2009.
