Linda E. Halfacre⏐Associate
Linda “Ellie” Halfacre focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, white-collar defense, First Amendment litigation, and regulatory investigations. Ellie's practice has also included high-profile defamation litigation. Her clients have ranged from corporate executives and cryptocurrency founders to multinational companies in the fields of health and fitness, transportation, and shipping and logistics.
Ellie graduated from William & Mary Law School, where she served as the Executive Editor of the William & Mary Law Review, an Election Law Fellow, and a member of the school's Moot Court Team. She also interned with Judge Lawrence R. Leonard of the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Virginia.
Prior to law school, Ellie worked as a paralegal and taught English in Malaysia through the Fulbright Program. Ellie attended the University of Delaware as a Eugene du Pont Memorial scholar and received the university’s highest honor for an outstanding senior, the Emalea Pusey Warner Award, upon graduation.
