Lanre Faderin⏐Law Clerk & Operations Manager

Lanre Faderin serves as DIR’s operations manager and law clerk. Having served most recently as Senior Director of West Wing Operations in the Office of the Vice President, she has extensive experience in leading high-impact initiatives, driving organizational improvements, and cultivating strategic partnerships to advance institutional priorities. She has held senior roles across the nonprofit sector and Executive Branch of the Federal Government.

During her time at the White House, Lanre led the strategic planning, daily operations, and executive logistics for Vice President Harris, including during the 2024 presidential campaign. Her portfolio included collaborating across multiple sectors (legal, policy, and industry) to ensure seamless execution of the Vice President’s agenda, coordinating high-level domestic and international engagements, and ensuring operational excellence. 

Prior to joining the White House, Lanre served in the General Counsel and Executive Offices at the Center for American Progress, a leading progressive policy think tank. There, she supported the organization’s Founder, and President & CEO. She played a key role in advancing institutional standard of operations, and facilitating internal coordination across departments.

Lanre was recognized by Essence as one of the women who “Led and Inspired During the Biden Administration,” in acknowledgment of her leadership, service, and impact.
