JD has managed several litigation matters requiring coordination across numerous forums, parallel workstreams, and multiple co-parties. He has defended claims against Fortune 50 companies in actions brought by state attorneys general and shareholders. His pro bono practice has centered on LGBT+ rights, including the submission of amicus briefs in several U.S. Courts of Appeal and the U.S. Supreme Court.

JD earned his law degree from The Ohio State University and clerked for the Honorable Karen Nelson Moore of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Alongside his legal practice, JD is a budding equestrian and practices illustration at the Art Students League of New York.
