Hannah Klain⏐Associate

Hannah Klain is a litigator whose practice spans trial and appellate litigation matters, high-stakes investigations, and congressional inquiries. She has advised prominent companies and individuals across a range of industries, including healthcare, education, sports and entertainment, telecommunications, and manufacturing, on matters involving significant legal, business, and reputational risk.

Hannah has represented clients through all stages of complex civil litigation and arbitration, where she has helped develop case strategy and prepare witnesses. She also counsels clients responding to congressional investigations and prepares executives and other witnesses for testimony before congressional committees.

Hannah’s career spans extensive experience in both private practice and government, including as Assistant Counsel to the Governor of New York, advising on litigation, constitutional, and regulatory matters affecting New York State government.

Hannah previously clerked for the Honorable Stephen A. Higginson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She began her legal career as an Equal Justice Works Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Brennan Center for Justice. Hannah received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A., cum laude, from Columbia University.
